Ultrasound-guided filler dissolving
Dermal filler does not always stay where it was placed; it can migrate into surrounding muscle tissue, causing tissue layers to fuse together (adhesions). This results in restricted movement, chronic swelling, and facial distortion. We map your filler with high-resolution ultrasound, then release tissue restrictions to restore movement, clear trapped fluid, and return your face to its natural movement.

The Clinical Protocol
We start by looking beneath the skin with high-resolution ultrasound. We scan the areas of concern to check for blood flow and verify the tissue health before any procedure.
We map exactly where the filler is located, how deep it sits, and whether it has migrated. We identify whether the visible distortion is caused by the filler gel itself, or by delayed complications (such as inflammatory nodules or firm, rubbery areas) and trapped fluid.
If delayed complications or fluid backup are present, standard dissolving is not enough. We perform a tissue decompression, manually releasing the stuck layers (adhesions) and injecting a targeted blend to resolve the inflammation, open up drainage, and restore natural movement.

Questions, answered
Most patients describe feeling "loose" immediately—like pressure has been lifted. Swelling is typically less than after standard dissolving treatments because we are opening up the drainage pathways, not blocking them. Mild headache or feeling slightly run-down is normal for a day or two as your body flushes out released fluid.
Avoid collagen-stimulating treatments (lasers, RF, microneedling) during active complications rehab. These trigger inflammation which can worsen adhesions. Once your tissue has decompressed, they can be safely resumed.
No, dissolving doesn't cause sagging. By removing the heavy, migrated filler that was stretching your skin and blocking drainage, the face often appears tighter, more lifted, and natural afterward.
We do not refill immediately. We allow the tissues to calm, drainage to restore, and your true anatomy to settle first (typically at least 4-6 weeks) before planning any rebuild.
